Party sources said Amit could be accommodated in the third list, which will cover constituencies in eastern Uttar Pradesh. Former chief minister and current Rajasthan governor Kalyan Singh's grandson Sandeep was among the nominees on the first list released last week. Kalyan's son Rajveer is already a BJP MP. Some party leaders felt the ability to win was the main criteria in deciding tickets and the BJP leaders' relatives were found to be strong on that count. The BJP had announced its first list of 149 candidates last week and with today's 155, it has declared 304 names so far.
