Daniel Ogbarmey Tetteh, Director-General of the Securities and Exchange CommissionThe Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has said by close of Monday, November 11, 2019, it will provide further details about a validation process and designated places where investors of collapsed Securities and Fund management companies can present their claims to be validated. There is also no need for any panic withdrawals on the firms whose licences are intact and not on the revocation list. A list of firms whose licences have not been revoked can be found on the SEC website (www.sec.gov.gh).” SEC said on its website. Meanwhile, it said persons whose actions and inactions led to the collapse of Fund Management Companies in the country would be handed a five (5) year ban from operating in the Capital Market.
