more-inFollowing the arrest of three persons in Tiruchi for carrying guns and ammunition, the Chennai police raided the house of one of the suspects in Kilpauk and seized fake notes with a face value of ₹64,000 from his relatives. Parameswaran, a police constable, Nagaraj and Siva were arrested by the Organised Crime Intelligence Unit (OCIU), which seized the arms and ammunition two days ago. During investigation, the police found that Nagaraj had hid the fake currency in his house in Chennai. The Secretariat Colony police raided the house in Nammalwarpet and found the notes. The police seized around ₹64,000 in fake notes from both the houses and arrested the two women.
