Fake milk sent for analysis, says Subra - Nation

SUNGAI BULOH: The Health Ministry has received no report of babies having problems after drinking fake milk, but has sent samples for analysis. Its minister Datuk Seri Dr S. Subramaniam said the ministry was working with the Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry on this. Speaking at the launch of the West Wing intensive care unit (ICU) of Hospital Sungai Buloh yesterday, he said the analysis was expected to take two weeks. The hospital’s high dependency ward was turned into an ICU ward with 24 beds, which will supplement the current 18 beds. It was reported that 210 boxes of fake baby milk powder were seized in Johor recently.
