She claimed the items were to be channelled through an unnamed private company for both export and supplies to the Ghana School Feeding programme. Convinced by her disposition, the market women without hesitation started supplying her with maize, beans, sorghum among others which they carted through articulator trucks to the suspect and her accomplices in Accra. She led the police to arrest two of her accomplices who are currently facing trial with her. She has been provisionally charged with eight counts of conspiracy to defraud by false pretences and defrauding by false pretences and will be arraigned before court today May 2, 2019.
