Despite the difficulties as claimed by Appiah Stadium, his love for former President John Dramani Mahama isn’t dying anytime soon in the region. Speaking on NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’, the diehard Mahama supporter noted that until the former President retires from politics he [Appiah Stadium] will continue to support him. “I will retire from politics with papa [John Mahama]. It s really difficult to support NDC in Ashanti region, but I don’t want to say much,” he said.
