Still, it's not as if Faith No More -- or Patton for that matter -- are front page news. If Faith No More was an alternative music hybrid of metal, funk, R&B, rap, and quirky prog rock, Patton took that ball and ran with it. There will be a group of music fans that will tune in, just for the anthem, to see what it’s about. There are bound to be people that don’t know him but will race to Google to search “Mike Patton” as soon as he performs. Maybe, but Patton doesn’t need to go “Roseanne Barr” with the anthem to make an impression.
