According to Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior, Al-Mujamad died while on duty with the General Directorate of Land Border Security, holding the rank of major. The ex-footballer, who later became a security officer, died alongside Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Emad Al-Sharrah while on duty. His former club, Al-Salmiya SC, expressed condolences to their former captain and his colleague who passed away in the line of duty, urging the bereaved families to remain strong.
