General News of Monday, 16 March 2026Source: www.ghanaweb.comA joint police operation has led to the arrest of two additional suspects in connection with the deadly robbery at Fufulso Junction in the Savannah Region, bringing the total number of suspects arrested so far to five. According to the police, the operation was carried out by a special team constituted by the Inspector-General of Police, Christian Tetteh Yohuno. Initial police investigations indicate that six suspects including one female believed to be of Fulani extraction carried out the attack. Police say the group targeted the mobile money shop during the robbery, leading to the fatal shooting of the victims. These include an unregistered Toyota Voxy vehicle which police say he allegedly purchased 72 hours after the robbery, an unregistered Haojue motorbike and two smartphones.
