MANILA, Philippines — Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) Director Nicanor Faeldon has offered to take a leave of absence after his son was arrested in an anti-drugs operation in Naga City. “He has offered to go on leave while the matter is under investigation. Law enforcers are conducting investigation on the incident and we await the outcome of such investigation,” Justice Undersecretary and Department of Justice (DOJ) Spokesman Markk Perete told reporters. ADVERTISEMENTHowever, he said the DOJ opted to first study his offer. Faeldon was recently appointed by President Rodrigo Duterte.
