Jason LaVeris/FilmMagic; Jordan Strauss/Invision/APMillions of people will tune in to watch the 90th Academy Awards on Sunday, March 4. And when they do, just like in the past seven years, they won't see any Latino actors nominated for an Oscar. The last nominees were Demián Bichir for best actor and Bérénice Bejo for best supporting actress - both in 2011. The first and only Latino actor to win an Oscar for a leading role was José Ferrer for Cyrano de Bergerac in 1950! And Rita Moreno won her Oscar for her best supporting actress role in West Side Story in 1961.
