File PhotoDHAKA, April 10, 2026 (BSS) - Foreign Minister Dr Khalilur Rahman has arrivedin Port Louis to attend the ninth Indian Ocean Conference, where he isexpected to hold bilateral meetings and seek support for Bangladesh's UNGApresidency bid. Dr Rahman travelled to Mauritius after concluding a series of meetings in NewDelhi on Wednesday, where he held talks with senior Indian leaders. Indian External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar is also attending theconference and is scheduled to deliver the keynote address. Launched in 2016, the Indian Ocean Conference has emerged as a key platformbringing together representatives from around 30 countries to deliberate onissues of mutual interest and regional cooperation.
