Abdelatty wished Egypt and its people would continue to enjoy love, peace, security, and stability. During the meeting, Abdelatty affirmed the Egyptian state’s appreciation of the deeply rooted national role played by the Coptic Orthodox Church under the leadership of Pope Tawadros II in supporting the values of national unity and promoting the culture of citizenship. He stressed that the church constitutes one of the fundamental pillars of the Egyptian national fabric. He emphasized that this unique cohesion represents the main foundation for the state’s advance toward a prosperous future and the achievement of comprehensive development for all its citizens. The minister also commended the spiritual, social, and humanitarian contributions of the Coptic Orthodox Church throughout history, noting that religious feasts remain a renewed opportunity to consolidate the meanings of solidarity and fraternity among all members of the Egyptian people.
