Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs Badr Abdelatty stressed the ministry’s unwavering commitment to supporting Egyptian communities across Gulf countries and the Arab Mashreq, emphasizing the importance of maintaining direct communication and closely monitoring their conditions, particularly amid current regional tensions. Abdelatty said that, overall, the situation of Egyptian expatriates remains reassuring. The meeting was attended by Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Nabil Habashi, Assistant Foreign Minister for Consular Affairs and Egyptians Abroad Ambassador Haddad el Gohary, Egypt’s Ambassador to Jordan Khaled el Abyad, and Consul in Aqaba Ahmed Ismail Othman. The meeting included an interactive discussion with members of the Egyptian community, addressing a range of issues related to their conditions and needs. Participants’ questions and proposals were reviewed and discussed, with officials reaffirming the Foreign Ministry’s commitment to providing full support and care as part of its ongoing efforts to serve Egyptians abroad.
