The US’s Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) interviewed Hillary Clinton on Saturday in connection with its ongoing investigation over her use of a private email server as secretary of state. Nick Merrill, her spokesman, said in a statement, “Secretary Clinton gave a voluntary interview this morning about her email arrangements while she was Secretary. The presumptive Democratic nominee was interviewed at the FBI headquarters in DC for over three and a half hours, a Clinton campaign aide said on background. The probe is an unwelcome distraction for Clinton, who had just vanquished rival Bernie Sanders. She is pleased to have had the opportunity to assist the Department of Justice in bringing this review to a conclusion.
