In his view of the world, the moral and legal rot associated with the POGOs eliminated all other considerations, including the revenue equation. Most Filipinos just hope, after all the moral meandering and legal equivocation, the Philippine government officially bans the POGOs for good. And putting things in perspective, the negatives are too extreme and overwhelming that there is no sliver of reason that argues for their continued stay in the country. Even under duress, even under extreme pressure to generate revenues, there is no justification for hosting the POGOs. As workers in an enterprise outlawed in their own country, POGO workers should have been exemplars of legal decorum.
