Manuel Mamba on Saturday declared a state of calamity in the province to mitigate the spread of Covid-19. Melchor Diclas also ordered the cancellation of classes in all levels starting March 13 until March 22. Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong has imposed a four-day workweek, which allows flexible working hours for workers in the city both in public and private firms. Biñan City Mayor Arman Dimaguila headed the drill together with the Sangguniang Panglunsod (City Council), city health offices and the barangay emergency response teams. General Santos City Mayor Ronnel Rivera also issued a curfew and travel restrictions on Friday.
