They spoke at a roundtable titled “Poultry for Healthy Living” at Jatiya Press Club yesterday, which was jointly organized by the World Poultry Science Association- Bangladesh Branch (WPSA-BB), and Bangladesh Poultry Industries Central Council (BPICC). Experts said that economic development alone is not enough to ensure nutritious food and establishing a healthy nation. They said the government needs to emphasize on increasing the intake of eggs and poultry meat among consumers. An announcement was also made about a five-day 11th International Poultry Show, which will be held in Dhaka on March 5-9. Besides, we are also working to amend and update the existing Poultry Development Policy.”He also said there are no plastic eggs in Bangladesh.
