Politics of Friday, 9 September 2016Source: classfmonline.comExpect more ‘fire’ – Ako GunnGodwin Ako Gunn One of the three Montie FM ex-convictsOne of the three Montie FM ex-convicts, Godwin Ako Gunn, has indicated that Ghanaians should expect more political “fire” from him from now until the December 7 elections following his release from jail. Mr Gunn, Salifu Maase, and Alistair Tairo Nelson had the remainder of their four-month jail term remitted by President John Mahama on Monday August 22 after having served for a month. Mr Gunn rejected talk by some opposition party members that the Montie Three, as they came to be known, never spent time in prison but were having fun away from the correctional facility. On behalf of the others who were incarcerated, he thanked Ghanaians and NDC members who showed support through the period of their trial and imprisonment. For him, the support from the NDC showed that the party was one he felt proud to belong to.
