Billed as a treasure trove of knowledge for children and elders alike, the “Science Express,” which features various aspects of climate change impact, including nature conservation, advancements in biotechnology applications and international climate change negotiations, will be on display at the railway station here on Thursday and Friday. The Ministry of Railways is running this 9th phase of the science exhibition, in co-ordination with Department of Science & Technology, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, Wildlife Institute of India and Vikram Sarabhai Community Centre. 1.45 lakh km coveredThe mobile exhibition has covered 1,45,000 km across the country during the previous eight phases. The show has attracted more than 1.65 crore visitors, making it perhaps the most visited science exhibition of its kind in the world yet.
