Certainly the surprisingly poor results hurt. People generally fail in new executive roles because of poor fit, poor delivery or poor adjustment to a change down the road. You need a personal onboarding plan and a business plan. Your personal onboarding plan is your 100-day action plan. As a team leader at any level, your own personal success is inextricably linked of the success of the team as a whole.
