Those who cheat or aid in exam cheating may spend up to 10 years in prison, President Uhuru Kenyatta has warned. Addressing more than 7,000 teachers, Uhuru said other stiff penalties will be initiated in efforts to have irregularity-free exams. Uhuru opened the 41st Kenya Secondary School Heads Association annual conference at Wild Waters Complex in Mombasa yesterday. The ministry targets a 100 per cent transition rate by 2019, he said. Cheating went up by a record 70 per cent in last year’s KCSE exam.
