SAN PEDRO CITY, LAGUNA, Philippines — A former traffic chief of Siniloan was killed in a buy-bust operation in Pagsanjan town in Laguna province on Sunday evening. In a text message, Col. Eleazar Matta, chief of the Laguna Police Provincial Office, identified the slain suspect as Leodigario Recide, alias Odec. ADVERTISEMENTHe said Recide was previously arrested for a drug case but was released on probation after entering into a plea bargain. Matta said undercover police officers went to Recide’s apartment in Barangay Sampaloc around 6 p.m. for the buy-bust. Matta said Recide, a native of Siniloan, was the town’s former chief of traffic operations.
