Supreme Court lawyer SM Rezaul Karim will replace the four-time Comilla-5 MP as new legal affairs secretary. Former Bangabandhu Ainjibi Parishad joint secretary Rezaul Karim was one of the lawyers in the cases over the August Bangabandhu assassination and November Jail Killings, both of which took place in 1975. In the 81-strong Awami League Central Working Committee, two Presidium member seats and one committee member post are still vacant.
