Chris Wright has been ordered to pay more than $18,000 in reparation to his former employer Century 21 after he stole bonds and rent while working for the real estate company. (file photo)A former Taranaki real estate agent who fleeced more than $18,000 from his employer has suffered a significant fall from grace, a court heard. Krebs noted Wright had surrendered his license to the Real Estate Authority and moved to Australia, but had returned to face up to his offending. Last week the Real Estate Authority Disciplinary Tribunal found Wright guilty of disgraceful conduct relating to the same offending. The tribunal found that when challenged about the missing money, Wright admitted to one landlord he had "pocketed it".
