KUALA LUMPUR: Former DAP member Tony Tan has urged the police to take action against a man who allegedly threatened him with violence and disrupted his protest during DAP’s special congress on Sunday. “He did so by honking his horn and rushing at me in a scary and physically threatening way. This inadvertently puts my safety at risk,” he said, adding that photos of the texts were given to the police. Tan was seen holding up a banner and lashing out against several party leaders, including DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng and vice-chairman Teresa Kok. Tan had also bemoaned the tragedy that befell Teoh, who died in custody while being investigated by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission in 2009.
