Everton are reportedly eyeing a sensational cross-Merseyside move for Liverpool striker Divock Origi. Origi finds himself well down the Anfield pecking order having failed to procure a move away in the summer. Liverpool are aware of interest from Everton, but yet to receive contact from their bitter rivals, according to ESPN. The last direct move between the two clubs was Abel Xavier's £800,000 transfer from Everton to Liverpool in January 2002. Origi has twice scored against Everton in his Liverpool career, including here in April 2016Liverpool were prepared to let 23-year-old Origi go in the summer but would not countenance another loan spell.
