Merseyside neighbours Liverpool are also using the apps — such as Zoom and Skype — to oversee group sessions while the players observe government guidelines by staying at home during the coronavirus lockdown. Individualised seven-day training programmes are being supplied by Everton to their squad at the start of each week, with a view to incorporating variety and competition into their daily routines.
