European stock markets fell at the start of trading on Wednesday. In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 index dropped 0.7% to 13 968.31 points and the Paris CAC 40 shed 0.5% to 5 756.40. Analysts expect inflation to rise strongly in the coming months with the UK economy tipped to emerge from its latest coronavirus lockdown. European stock markets fell at the start of trading on Wednesday following losses across much of Asia. "UK inflation is no cause for concern, despite it printing slightly higher than expected."
