Toga appreciated the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)’s continued support for the commission since its inception, including technical assistance in its human resource development efforts, program structuring and formulation, as well as material assistance in the form of office equipment and vehicles. Doe, in turn, reaffirmed support for the implementation of the ex-combatants’ rehabilitation program, which is part of the Pretoria Peace Agreement signed between the Ethiopian Government and the Tigray People’s Liberation Front on November 2, 2022, to end the conflict. It also pledged to mobilize more resources to support the Commission’s efforts.
