Ethiopian Minister Concerned About Undocumented Citizens Still in Saudi ArabiaJuly 26, 2017 - Ethiopia's Communications Minister, Negeri Lencho, expressed that he feared what could now happen to his Ethiopian compatriots who are still in Saudi Arabia, reported BBC. Ethiopians make up a large portion of the kingdom's undocumented workers. The minster also called upon all undocumented Ethiopians in Saudi to return home "with a sense of urgency". Despite the extension of Saudi’s amnesty, only a fraction of Ethiopian citizens working illegally in Saudi Arabia have returned home. Saudi Arabia attracts migrant workers from around the world, particularly Africa, and south and south-east Asia.
