Ethiopian Inlation Rising, Tops 15 PercentMarch 7, 2018 - Ethiopia’s annual inflation increased to 15.6 percent in February from 13.4 percent in January, said the Central Statistical Agency (CSA) of Ethiopia, according to Fana news. Ethiopia's inflation had declined to single digit numbers from double digit numbers in recent years. Low foreign earnings due to unrest in the country hampering businesses may have contributed to this rise in inflation. According to a statement agency sent to FBC today, the prices of most of the major cereals showed an increase during the month under review. The prices of meat, milk, and cheese and eggs showed a decline, it said.
