Twenty-four-year-old, Ebsite Tilahun Asres, of Ethiopia has been sanctioned by the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) for an anti-doping rule violation. On 3 December 2023, the Athlete provided a urine sample in-competition in Nanning, China. ON Dec. 29, her in-competition test result produced a results showing the presence of triamcinolone acetonide. The AIU has banned Ebsite Tilahun Asres (Ethiopia) for 2 years from 3 June 2024 for Presence of a Prohibited Substance (Triamcinolone acetonide). Asres ran the Košice Marathon in Oct. 2023 in the time of 2:28:02 in Košice, Slovakia.
