Ethiopian Airlines is preparing to introduce its first Airbus A350-1000 into its fleet, marking a significant milestone in its modernisation and expansion strategy. This new addition is not only the first A350-1000 for Ethiopian Airlines but also the first of its kind in Africa. “Excitement is in the air as we count down … until the arrival of our new A350-1000,” the carrier said on X/Twitter. Ethiopian celebrated the inaugural flight in an event that brought together the Ambassador of Bangladesh to Ethiopia, high ranking officials, and Ethiopian Airlines’ executives. The new route will be operated six-times weekly, providing travel options between Bangladesh and the Ethiopian global network.
