Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport celebrated the inaugural Ethiopian Airlines flight Wednesday. Ethiopian Airlines, formerly Ethiopian Air Lines, is the main carrier of Ethiopia and is owned by the country's government. It started international service in 1951 and has grown exponentially ever since. Atlanta is one of five destinations in North America within the airline's service and the only one in the southern United States.
