Ethiopian Airlines says it has lost about $137 million a week due to the ongoing war between the United States, Israel and Iran, which entered its eighth day on Saturday. “The airline has canceled more than 100 flights a week with some of the destinations used to have up to three flights daily and lost about $137 million in a week,” Yadhecha said. Ethiopian Airlines has made adjustments in response to the turn of events in the Middle East. It has temporarily scheduled airplanes that used to fly to the Middle East to a different route – apparently away from the conflict zone. It aims to minimise the loss from the Middle East route.
