Ethiopian Airlines Group's Chief Executive Officer, Tewolde Gebremariam has extolled association with Chinese firms for helping the air carrier to achieve impressive growth. He also said Ethiopian Airlines has partnered with Chinese air carriers to give top quality services to customers in Ethiopian Airlines' Chinese flight destinations. "Ethiopian Airlines wants to thank Shenzhen Airlines, Air China for the support they have given to Ethiopian Airlines. The Ethiopian Airlines CEO further said his airlines is planning to build on its current successful partnership with Chinese firms to make it a long term partnership. " Ethiopian Airlines is planning to build a new airport 38 km from Addis Ababa and we intend to develop the new airport together with Chinese firms," said Gebremariam.
