In the just ended fiscal year, Ethiopia made 104 million USD from the export of meat, honey, wax, fodder products, and milk and dairy. This was disclosed by Ethiopian Meat & Dairy Industry Development InstituteAs it stands there are a 468 local investors engaged in meat and dairy production. 186 investors on the other hand are engaged in meat and fodder processing while there are 27 industries in milk and dairy processing. The country also has 65 honey and wax processing investors while another 49 are in the fodder processing business. It boasts with 57 million cattle, 29.33 million sheep, 29.11 million goats, 1.16 million camels, and 56.87 million chickens.
