Establishing knowledge driven role of graduates most difficult modern challenge: Jhagra


PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Governor Engineer Iqbal Zafar Jhagra said Tuesday that the Islamia College University Peshawar after having become a public sector university in 2008, is now ready to face new challenges. The governor said this while addressing the 5th Convocation of Islamia College University. “Establishing knowledge driven role of the graduates for betterment of our beloved country in particular and the humanity in general, is one of the most difficult challenges of the modern day,” he stressed. Earlier, Islamia College University Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Habib Ahmad, while presenting the annual report, highlighted the achievements of the institution. The ceremony was largely attended by heads of various educational institutions, parents of the graduates and distinguished figures from different walks of life.
