Equity bank has planted 900,000 trees in Luanda since 2019


Equity bank targets to plant more than 35 million trees across the country. This are in efforts to protect the water catchment areas and forests, facing extinction. Luanda manager Peter Lubale says in Vihiga county they have done 900,000 seedlings at Maragoli hills, Ebusiekwe hills and other government institutions, since 2019. Lubale urged Vihiga residents to invest heavily in environmental friendly cooking appliances as a way of combating climate change. He further urged residents to plant more environmental friendly trees for continued farming and protection of water towers.
