Environment Canada has issued a heat warning for Toronto and most of southern Ontario, forecasting humidex values reaching 40 for the next three days. Warm overnight temperatures above 20 will provide little relief from the heat, Environment Canada says. Environment Canada is suggesting everyone in the GTA drink plenty of water, stay in cool places and schedule outdoor activities during the coolest parts of the day to reduce the heat risk. Earlier Tuesday, the weather agency issued a warning for a “possible tornado” in the area of London, Ont. Meteorologists from Environment Canada are seeking confirmation from photos or videos from social media before officially declaring a tornado.
