Enugu APC chieftain urges new leaders to prioritise unity

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Enugu State, Chief Tony Nwobodo, has tasked the newly elected leaders of the party to ensure unity among the members ahead of the 2027 general elections. Nwobodo, who gave the charge on Wednesday in a statement issued in Enugu, congratulated the newly elected leaders and delegates following the conclusion of the party’s national convention. Specifically commending the emergence of Dr Ben Nwoye as the APC Deputy National Chairman (South), Nwobodo described his election as a strategic win for the Southeast region. The APC stalwart tasked the new deputy national chairman with the responsibility of unifying the party’s various factions to ensure a formidable front ahead of the 2027 general elections. Nwobodo urged Nwoye to leverage his new office to foster reconciliation and strengthen the party’s grassroots structures across the southern states.
