England players had one last chance to impress the coaching staff in training before Eddie Jones announces his squad to face Italy this Sunday. Jones took training at Pennyhill Park on Wednesday morning as he finalised his team selection. As did Jack Nowell, who was supposed to be out of action for another three weeks after an ankle injury. Instead, he has been cleared for selection in England's opener in Rome and was able to train with the squad on Wednesday. But it's a selection dilemma Jones will relish having.
