Gillett claims that the FA’s staff failed to act on data provided by the club on Livermore’s workload before games and that the increased intensity of his build-up affected the player’s output. The criticism comes after The Times revealed how Manchester United had refused to share medical data with the FA over fears of leaks to their rivals.
