Photo: Derek MorrisonThe overnight leaders could not be caught on the second day of the Three Peaks Enduro yesterday. The leaders after the first day, Keegan Wright (pictured), of Rotorua, and Katy Winton, of Scotland, maintained their advantage on the trail rides down Signal Hill yesterday to win the event. Wright (21) led by 13 seconds after the first day and that was the advantage he had at the finish after the three rides down Signal Hill. Winton, who is the world No 3 in the discipline, was surprised to be leading after the first day, saying she found the trails "quite niggly". Winton (24) led by 35 seconds after the opening day and maintained that time advantage on the second day.
