Ciru Muriuki went through the same procedure in 2017 and through an Instagram post urged for more research on the disease. Njambi Koikoi has been making headlines with her documented endometriosis journey and this has created more awareness on the disease. The Endometriosis month which is held across the world aims at creating awareness of the disease in a bid to reduce the diagnosis period.
