A ‘poetic symphony’ in the form of a written and spoken word festival will take place in Slough for the first time next week. The EPF Poetry Fest is set to ‘captivate audiences with a day of literary delights’ at The Curve from 1.30pm on Saturday, December 2. From interactive storytelling for youngsters to a ‘soul-stirring’ live event featuring acclaimed poets, the festival promises to be a celebration of creativity and community. Curious Places led by Claire Dyer will explore how treasured places can inspire unexpected poetry from 2.30pm to 4pm. A Storytelling Workshop with Nina Telegina to craft and narrate a short story rooted in real history for people aged 8+ takes place from 4pm to 5pm.
