Listed Emperador Inc. said the international sales of its brandy and whisky products spurred its net income by 11 percent year-on-year to P5.9 billion in January to September. Emperador’s global business saw double-digit growth as it adapted well to new consumption trends,” Emperador President Winston Co said in the statement. Emperador said its brands Fundador, Tres Cepas and Emperador are growing consistently in the United States, Canada, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom and Greater China, while brands under Grupo Emperador España S.A. dominate the brandy market in Spain with 40-percent market share. Meanwhile, Fundador saw a 185-percent increase in the UK and 15 percent in Italy. We are confident that this will pave the way for further growth in the future for Emperador,” Manlapaz added.
