Emily Carroll Hanno and Elías Ramón Sánchez-Eppler were married July 28 by Hannah Zwirner Forsythe, a friend of the couple who received permission from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to officiate at the Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art in Amherst, Mass. Ms. Hanno, 29, is studying for a Ph.D. in education policy and program evaluation at Harvard, from which she received a master’s degree in human development and psychology. She is the daughter of Susan Carroll Hanno and Dennis M. Hanno of Norton, Mass. Mr. Hanno, also 29, is a research analyst for Mathematica Policy Research in Cambridge, Mass. He graduated magna cum laude from Princeton, from which he also received a master’s degree in public affairs.
