Deputy President William Ruto has asked women to embrace new technology to avoid being locked out of jobs in the public service. Ruto said more than 50 per cent of jobs in the public service currently require some level of knowledge in technology. “It is now a good sign that service delivery has improved in most government departments, thanks to technology,” the DP said. The Panguza Programme aims at training JoyWo women to be technology savvy and competent. It is better for women to be part of where we are going in the future,” he said on Monday during launch of Joyful Women Organisation (JoyWo) Panguza Programme.
